“The Still Point” captures the quiet intensity found at the meeting place between motion and rest — a lone skier pausing atop the frozen cornice of the mountain. The sweeping forms and monochrome tones evoke both the weight and fluidity of snow, as if the landscape itself were alive, holding its breath.
